No. This is an attempt to logically justify ethics. An ethical
position is how you feel about something.

It is OK to kill cows but not dogs because dogs have p-consciousness?
No. It is because we give our dogs names. It is the advice that
farmers give to their children. Don't name the animals you plan to
eat.

P-consciousness is an illusion. We all have this illusion because it
increases our reproductive fitness. You don't want it to end by dying.
