I stayed fully conscious during sleep one whole night, due to taking too
much modafinil (it was night #4 after 3 nights with no sleep at all...)

Watching myself pass thru all the phases of sleep was pretty cool -- I
sorta was divided into two people, the sleeper and the watcher ... watching
my dreams from the outside during REM sleep as well...

I guess this discussion may be digressing too far from AGI though ;p ;)
