To reverse-engineer the cognitive system of a human being, yes.
There's a subtle difference.
We have internal access to a god deal of our design at the cognitive
level, but not at the neuron level.
I am in the process of rewriting the Standard Model design of the human
cognitive system (as implied by the work done so far in cognitive
psychology etc) into a form that makes it accessible to computationally
minded people.
