Well these discussions seem to interest a number of people, they are
tiring to us because we have already thought about this stuff before.
And I get carried away by these arguments when I hear someone repeat
the same kind of naive exaggeration over and over again. I originally
started writing about this because you made it seem as if you were
saying that some kind of embodiment was necessary.

Another point that I made, which you evidently thought was just as
nauseating, was that by choosing to work on the vr you run the risk of
avoiding the hard problems because you can get so much immediate
leverage by working the methods that are used in the database. The
danger is that the quick leverage provides a feeling of accomplishment
by leaving the real questions buried.
