Ok, so why mix up things like the repository descriptor and the project
descriptor? Why not place your repository information in that descriptor?

It seems Gump only supports CVS, and that you are continuing that. In
Maven, we are open to the possibility of other VCS's.

And please keep it up. Don't let my pedantic ways get to you. If Gump will
need it, can you explain where? Is there an extension to Gump for
publishing project info, rather than building and publishing results, I'm
not aware of?
