Brian,
If I remember correctly the Bosch distributor with the RML kit (from their
website, my kit is no longer sold) has not advance springs in it - the
ignition module takes care of all that. But I'll check all the electrical
connections - there is a 3 wire Molex connector between the ignition module
and the distributor that sometimes gets oily.
