Dave, I couldn't find a replacement motor for the antenna on my 164 when it died but my solution was great! I bought a generic power antenna and was able to use the motor to drive the Alfa antenna. It worked perfectly for years and I think the generic unit was only $20 - $30.

There is a thread here on fixing slow window regulators: http://www.alfabb.com/bb/forums/milano-75-1985-1993/335586-fixing-window-regulator.html I did this slightly differently but with great results, was going to write it up and put it on my website (www.alfamilano.com) but realized I never finished it, maybe I'll get to it this weekend. Here is a video I did of the before and after side by side so you can see the difference. There is also a fix you can do to help with the rears a bit as the ground is not great for the rears, craig of (craigs place) had it posted on his website, if you search the alfabb you should be able to find it. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hryXOLv2g4A Kevin On 4/3/15 8:05 PM, Richard Welty wrote: > On 4/3/15 7:02 PM, Richard Welty wrote: >> good progress today. >> > however, there are some minor electrical things. > fog lights (front and rear) do not work. the ARC > lights up in the usual manner. > > someone was fixing the ARC boards by replacing > the bad capacitors, are they still doing that and > who were they? > > richard > > -- > [email protected] > Averill Park Networking - GIS & IT Consulting > OpenStreetMap - PostgreSQL - Linux > Java - Web Applications - Search > > [demime 1.01d removed an attachment of type application/pgp-signature which had a name of signature.asc] > -- > to be removed from alfa, seehttp://www.digest.net/bin/digest-subs.cgi > or email "unsubscribe alfa" [email protected] ------------------------------ Date: Sat, 04 Apr 2015 12:07:44 -0400 From: Richard Welty <[email protected]> Subject: [alfa] Milano HVAC systems yesterday a list member brought to my attention (off list) the fact that milano blower systems full of debris are prone to catching fire. i was aware of this but it had slipped my mind. i have no plans to use the blower until all the stuff is cleared out, but i've never pulled that part of the car apart before. how does one get all the stuff out of the ventilation system? richard - -- [email protected] Averill Park Networking - GIS & IT Consulting OpenStreetMap - PostgreSQL - Linux Java - Web Applications - Search [demime 1.01d removed an attachment of type application/pgp-signature which had a name of signature.asc] ------------------------------ Date: Sun, 05 Apr 2015 08:24:53 -0400 From: Kevin Redden <[email protected]> Subject: Re: [alfa] Milano HVAC systems See this post, and I'm sure there are others with pictures if you search around a bit: http://www.alfabb.com/bb/forums/milano-75-1985-1993/225785-c-heater-advice.html Kevin On 4/4/15 12:07 PM, Richard Welty wrote: > yesterday a list member brought to my attention (off list) the fact > that milano blower systems full of debris are prone to catching fire. > i was aware of this but it had slipped my mind. i have no plans to > use the blower until all the stuff is cleared out, but i've never pulled > that part of the car apart before. how does one get all the stuff > out of the ventilation system? > > richard > > -- > [email protected] > Averill Park Networking - GIS & IT Consulting > OpenStreetMap - PostgreSQL - Linux > Java - Web Applications - Search > > [demime 1.01d removed an attachment of type application/pgp-signature which had a name of signature.asc] > -- > to be removed from alfa, see http://www.digest.net/bin/digest-subs.cgi > or email "unsubscribe alfa" to [email protected] ------------------------------ End of alfa-digest V10 #2726 **************************** -- to be removed from alfa, see http://www.digest.net/bin/digest-subs.cgi or email "unsubscribe alfa" to [email protected]
