Wow, so if Bob's Dr.Bronner's aphid spray knocks off my Plantus rarius I can
sue him? Cool. I've been looking for a way to pay my kid's tuition at Very
Expensive Private College.
Now seriously folks. I know that if I try any of the suggested home brewed
aphid killers (soap, vinegar, cinnamon) I do so at my own risk. I understand
the situation is entirely different if I was using this in a commercial
establishment or if the product was marketed as a pesticide. Lots of people
are cleaning floors etc with vinegar. Is that an off label use? After all I'm
sure they're wiping out a few bugs and possibly some microbes.
I think most of us on this forum have some common sense. None of the three
recommended home brews for aphids are likely to harm me, or anyone else, if
they try them using common sense (it's probably not a good idea to inhale big
gulps of cinnamon dust).
