I tried 1.4.1 firmware for the TeleGPS and I still get a very distorted data
packet on air. It doesn't sound anything like the .wav file of
a functioning TeleGPS that was sent to me. I don't hear any beeping and just
get what sounds like a very distorted APRS packet.
I've listened on four different receivers and the APRS radios decode regular
packets perfectly off air. I know it's the TeleGPS issue.
I put a request in to return it and have them take a look at it. It's not a
rush deal for me at all because it's winter here and can't fly.
Am aware Keith and B'dale are out of the country for a conference. Kurt KC9LDH

Hey Kurt and the gang;
I would STRONGLY suggest downgrading **AltOS** and seeing which of the old
versions might help (PROVIDED the telegps will work with the older software).
<- Depending on which "distro" of linux I am using (ubuntu or archlinux) I
cannot do the flightpack configuration &/or any flightline monitoring of my (or
others flyer"s) tm's or telemegas UNLESS I downgrade the AltOS below 1.5x.
Best regards;
Bob F.
