Yeah, I tried the firmware too. It was easy enough to pull off. Confirmed it took. Another person suggested that perhaps the Rf cal value was corrupted. It would have had to of occurred before or as I connected the TeleGPS to my Linux laptop. I had no issues the first time with connection and I immediately copied down to paper the value of the Rf cal number I saw there. Never did touch or make any changes. That could be the reason I "hear" a distorted packet. Since it's winter here and I'm in no big rush, I can wait till Keith and B'dale get back from Brussels. Kurt
