Some may not realize that the "diskname" does not have to be
a path and does not have to match the "device".  My hosts
generally have disks "named" Root, Home, Opt, ...
and my Windows clients have disks named Cdrive, Ddrive, ...
The "device" becomes the starting path.

Among other benefits, this keeps the diskname compact where
the device may not be.
