Remember my script generating DLEs of a defined size? It could be used in a similar way. Just implement it as a pre/post-script and it recreates the DLEs each run. It is one of my todos for it to add switches to influence its behavior in terms of "add another DLE including only the new files since last run" for example, to keep the DLEs as static as possible. The vDLE in this case could be described as "backup directory XY in several DLEs of maximum size Y". Am I on topic? Stefan
