I would ask that people bear this in mind - it seems that the more strident the voices on <ambit> become, the more the response from others is silence.are you really saying that those who have clearly defined opinions should temper the expression of them so as not to upset the fragile or un(in)formed opinions of others ?
seems to me that what you're saying has the whiff of censorship about it, and the most damaging form of all, that of self-censorship
