YES! This is a NEEDED feature! Amirc also needs to let us have settable
time-to-join and time-between-joins. On dalnet, you get disconnected alot,
and it would be nice to not simply get throttled by your server and have to
manually log in all the time. (They throttle you for having too many
reconnects in too little time) This is probably my biggest "complaint"
with Amirc.
The second feature would be loved by a few people too, I would imagine: BNC
support. It would be nice to have built in BNC support so that you could
'tag' a server as a BNC, and it would allow automatic reconnects thru the
BNC to the IRC server (or group of servers with configurable timeouts! :-)
)
Thank you for your considerations! If I could code half decently, I would
simply make a plugin that would allow for BNC support, but having it
"stock" in AmIRC has an added 'cool factor'.
