Let me give you an example.
You have 3 Highlights.
One on your nick, and two on different Topics, e.g. Amiga and Science Fiction.
Now you get a highlight. Colour change in the line and a sound event.
When you are away from your computer, doing something different and you would
like to ignore the topics but like to come back when someone wants to talk
to you, there is a problem. You get only one sound. No chance to determine if
it was the topic or your nick. So you have 2 choices:
1. run to the computer and see that it was only the topic
2. continue with your work and miss the one you needed to talk to
(both according to Murphy's Law)
;-)
And please don't say "then make a notify for a nick" ... ;-)
There is the same problem. Only one event for all nicks.
