Yeah, I know it wasn't his intention, which is why I said sorry! :p
and I do agree about the pin :p

Yep, I get the point of course.. that's why we do all this, self
satisfaction, and worldwide fame (ahem:p) , but yes, this is a very good
idea! ok so who's the contributor of the month? :)
oh and by the way.. I don't like showing my ugly face on websites! :p

yeah, stuff like that would be good! elaborating on ideas is always good,
and I do agree!
If you read my latest email and see the links on the wiki, you'll see that
this was already mentioned.. and we also had quite a lot of tshirts that
were suppoed to be sent to our contributors.. previous developers, current
developers, forum members who are helpful, patch submitters, etc.. We also
gave quite a few at random users during the FOSDEM conference! There's a
wiki page with the list of everyone (from that time) who 'deserved' a thank
you tshirt... unfortunately, we have this thing called lazyness which means
that more than a year later, most of the contributors didn't get their
tshirts yet.. I still have them in a box at my house, waiting for me to send
them.. and I still have this reminder telling me to do it...
I was recently in Australia, so I took that opportunity to send a few
tshirts to contributors who live there... I think they are the only ones who
received their tshirt!
Anyways, the desktop summit might be also encouraging to some people.. we'll
see! But I'm open to discussion on how to boost morale and motivation!
