No, I wasn't talking about the buddy icons, I was talking about the color of
the nicknames! Just the fact that the text gets colored depending on the
state! That's why I said black :p  Yes the images should have less
saturation, but the text also should be more subtle...

Also, WLM doesn't  color the nicknames depending on the state. It actually
either shows a little square to represent the buddy (with green/available,
red/busy, orange/away or gray/offline) or it shows a thick frame around the
DP if you show the DP in the CL.
