No, I didn't. So in order to include/exclude a perdicular host, besides the
following commands, do I need to add anything else? Does it matter where I
put them in the .cfg file?
DNSFILE
DNS WRITE
HOSTEXCLUDE 23.4232.5232

Did you add a DNSFILE command when you added the DNS WRITE command?
