What is "innovate"? On this thread, that subject has at least 2 meanings: 1st - innovative usage models or using innovative aspects of the platform (apparently this meaning is used by tberthel's opponents) 2nd - any new application/library for the platform that features enough engineering sophistication to be considered innovative. This is more broad.
E.g. my entry falls even less into the first category than one of tberthel's. There are 2 things I am proud of enough to consider them "innotative", may be not in the first meaning: JIT that profiles and modifies Z80 code on the fly to make games playable on the emulator, and creating an emulator and game collection as an entry that matches terms and conditions that are strict on the copyright side.
