I guess it depends on our goals... I'd like to have one, hack one, and
also make a living in the "new" mobile space, with the carrier-
sphincter loosened up, and a chance to bring innovation to a viable
market.  I don't care which handsets or SDK, particularly.  I can make
pretty good stuff in J2ME, too, but the ecosystem needs "evolution."

I think we're hoping Google brings that.  Apple is bringing it,
without much openness.  I'll take open distribution, even if it has no
open "source."

Not if the carriers keep their grip on the mainstream.
