Also, I'm pretty sure that the whole principal of the phone is inline with the hacker mentality. Sometimes you need to use workarounds or write something yourself if you're unhappy. The system is open source and in it's infancy. Things will change (quickly) so either do it yourself or use a workaround until someone else does it.
