As a note, there are some key differences between Android Market and SlideME Market - http://slideme.org: 1) we will be supporting global billing; 2) developers from any country can stock paid applications. 3) we aren't taking out 30% download fees + transactions, our's are 0% + transactions.
This makes SlideME Market much more favorable to the developer than Handango (40% cut), AndroidMarket (30%), AndroidGuys Store (20%). We also have a SAM client similar to AndroidMarket, making the user experience much better than Handango and AndroidGuys Store, both of which rely on xHTML and traditional web carts, which is a terrible experience for the mobile device shopper.
