Good stuff, point taken I haven't been following the community for very
long. I've installed slideme and will give it a go.

I guess the only thing developers can do at this stage is offer their
applications on other markets as well as the android one, and advertise this
fact prominently so they maximise profits and meet their customers
requirements.

Is there a good place for my to raise my issue to get it known by the
android market maintainers, like a public bug tracker? Or is posting on this
list going to be enough to raise attention? I will be happy to test any new
payment mechanisms if it will help the process...

SlideME has been present from Day 1 on these lists. So don't know when you
came aboard. To name a few others slideme is mentioned: tmo forums, xda,
anddev.org <http://www.anddev.org/> (bang home page Ad too)
Others seem to mention SlideME is very well known to developers (which had
been SlideME's initial focus) but not so much for end users (which comes
next)
Feel free to follow http://twitter.com/slideme

Actually what android forums do most spend their time on apart for these
lists?
