Thanks for the link mathiastck. Someone also also kindly pointed me to this report: http://www.google.com/support/forum/p/Android+Market/thread?tid=57912f7eefae2e5f&fid=57912f7eefae2e5f0004656534c6b930&hl=en
After a bit of searching on the support forum, I also found a similar one: http://www.google.com/support/forum/p/Android+Market/thread?tid=0599915213aa83de&fid=0599915213aa83de00046543e5b4b452&hl=en Slightly more worrying is that this issue is also valid the other way around. U.K. developers are finding that U.S. customers are unable to buy their applications: http://www.google.com/support/forum/p/Android+Market/thread?tid=5d08f29aeb3d9706&hl=en (scroll half way down comments) So a potentially large number of U.K. users are unable to buy the majority of paid apps on the market (as most are U.S. based), and many of the potential U.S. customers are unable to buy U.K. apps, and probably avoid them like the plague once they realise this. Assuming this issue is as bad as I believe it to be; it means that the paid market is being starved from activity in the U.K. I wonder how many other countries will experience this same issue? It could get even worse once France and the euro come into the scene...
