I'd just like to add a user's opinion if I may. I'm a 30 year old G1 user and I love the Android platform, I think it's great and I'm certainly not cheap. I have bought 3 games which were an absolute waste of money for me but once I'd bought them I didn't want to get rid of them within the 24 hours as I felt guilty that the designers had done so much hard work.
I've also bought a few apps, widgets and themes and I'm quite happy to carry on buying them HOWEVER, what I'm not prepared to do is buy any more games or random apps that I don't find useful. This includes the huge numbers of Notes apps, Tip apps, "spirituality" apps or comics. To those devs who design other stuff I'm afraid that I sometimes can't be bothered to trawl through the reams and reams of crud just to find your gem - sorry! One last thing that I was just wondering, since when did open source automatically mean free? I thought it meant that the source code was open for anyone to use it, amend it or create using it? Good luck to you all, and I hope I'll get the chance to try out some of your apps! --~--~---------~--~----~------------~-------~--~----~ You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Android Discuss" group.
