A big question has to be raised here as to what we as developers think the priority of Android development should take.
What would you rather have: Further refinement of the market or Android 2.1 for all devices I have no idea if 2.1 is in fact going to be released for every Android capable device or not, but the question of priorities is the real issue here. The market app does work, works fairly well and as everyone knows, there are short comings to the app, website and payment system. That said, would you rather all development cease on the rest of Android so that several months of effort can be dedicated to the market? Just like any software development team, the engineers working on Android are resource limited. They have to pick their battles carefully. Personally, I'll take the market the way it is in favor of a 2.1 upgrade to everyone. -John Coryat -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Android Discuss" group.
