Generally, I don't have such a huge problem with the 325 limit. Its important to think of it as advertising space rather than a feature list.
Having said that, one of my apps is 6MB and so it takes a lot more convincing to get people to download such a beast. The ability to click on the short description to take you (the user) to a longer description would be nice... The current method for developers responding to user comments is pretty far from "perfect" IMHO. Its a hack and not a very effective one at that. There is a limit to how many characters you can put in a comment and so if you're having a "good" day with a few users saying ridiculous things, there is no way you have the space to answer all of them. You need to be able to attach responses to what you are responding to.
