Yesterday afternoon, my app started showing up again, and today my app shows available to 427 devices, so hopefully things are back to norm
I was able to test using to identical devices (G2 on TMobile, both running standard Android). My app showed up on one, and not the other. I am at a complete loss to explain that one. My app has links to the market, and because the market is unreliable, it makes my app look buggy (which it is not). In fact, I got this comment yesterday: (1 star) by Bob (June 11, 2011) Most lame. Nothing new Links to market are even wrong sometimes. C ya. It is disappointing Google has consistently done such a poor job managing the Android Market. It is such an important element of the Android ecosystem, and is constantly "screwed" up (which is especially problematic for me - since my app relies on the Market for it's primary functionality). The other giant frustration about this experience, is there is no way to actually contact someone at Google, that could do something about this. Did I miss the link to the support email, or phone number that is posted somewhere? While I appreciate being able to complain to the Android-Discuss mailing list - I would feel much better if I could actually open a support case with the Android Market group.
