It's funny, because I had the exact same experience (I did get comments): The original 1 star:
WON'T OPEN NOW =( AFTER THE LATEST UPDATE, DOTD WON'T EVEN OPEN *I replied: *I really don't think there is a problem with the app. The last update was pretty much a UI update. Contact me, if you need help debugging. ...and the original commenter changed their review to 5 star (didn't change the review text, but who cares about that). So bottom line, this exact example is a perfect demo for how awesome replies to comments (and tying to G+ accounts) is.
