Thanks, but now I'm just wondering if my post was completely misunderstood
here.

I am neither a developer nor a user of the app I am quoting from. (It is
possibly connected to someone who is applying for a job with me, which is
the only reason I ran across it. )

I was *not* asking for advice on how to respond to such a comment. I do
consider both Brian's and Mike's answer to the comment to be appropriate,
although Brian's would be too long to fit.

My actual response would be to contact my support email. But I get too many "it doesn't work anymore" emails and that's all that the email says. So I have to write them back asking "which app doesn't work?" It could even be one of my Windows programs. I've even gotten emails for someone else's app. My competitor back in the Palm days used to forward the ones he'd get for me saying "this must be one of your patients."

So I'm going to implement a web form instead of using email where they have to select the problem app.
