I did a test before. I put a very simple to do app in Android. We treated that app is only proof of concept. But we want the users to give us some feedback about that. So that we can build a better to do app later. I ran an admob promotion, Yes, that is effective, I got a lot of new installs. But after I stop the admob, the stats I got , not many active user. That is not enough good, Admob can get some new installs, but the app have to be the good quality, then the user will stay to use it.
