Great discussion! I feel like I'm at a disadvantage, trying to respond
during the workday in GMT-4. I know I haven't communicated much since
I announced that I had mirrored Koolu's repo at Gitorious, but I have
been able to do some work amidst the day job and other things.

I have merged Michael's changes from Serdar's repo into my local tree
and have built an image that runs pretty well. I'm using Koolu's
install process (everything installed in the internal memory).
Eventually, I'd like to have a process to install to SD as well. I
need to upload that work to the Gitorious repo
(http://gitorious.org/android-on-freerunner), which I will probably do
in the next 24 hours.

The small amount of testing I've done reveals wifi, GPRS and GPS work.
Receiving calls works immediately after install, without any
sqlite/provisioning flag stuff. Wifi still doesn't work after resume
unless you restart it (or toggle airplane mode).

I have other fixes and enhancements I'd like to do, as I'm sure others
here do as well.

Gitorious provides Git hosting and a wiki, but not much else. I was
thinking of creating an android-on-freerunner project at Google Code
to host a wiki, bug tracker and plus built images. If that works for
others in the community, I'll set that up this weekend as well.

I agree that we should migrate to mailing list that's not hosted by
Koolu. I don't have a strong opinion on using a separate list versus
sharing one of the Openmoko lists. I can see advantages and
disadvantages to each.
