I'm looking for a quick repository of resources I'm working > with right now, versioned by changes by various programs. I am thinking of a similar thing. Kind of a todo list which I can drop things on. It could be web links, images, mails .. It would probably make sense to have this as an extending Plasma applet. You could extend the applet and have visual representations of all things in it. Then you could take out an item and drop it into another application. Also, there could be context menus and the possibility of annotating entries in the repository with your own comments. This is like basKet with versioning, integrated into the desktop. Don't know how versioniong could be made usable, though.
