There are some version of Win95 himem.sys which have a bug, and require
VERY much memory.
IMHO there's even a patch for that.

_ALL_ DPMI programs I tried with it immediately crashed !!
(same applies to the multitasker !)

NO ... it's the other way around.

DJGPP strictly follows the DPMI specification !!!!

And caldera admitted, that it is the best thing to disable emm386s DPMI
support, because it is too buggy !

Definitely NOT !

Programs hang under drdos emm, which run great with msdos emm and QEMM.
(And qemm is very conservative ... if there is a memory exception, it
immediately pops up)
