I setup my account with Netscape 4.08 for Win3.x. I went back to the
sight last night and tried to setup another account and got some sort
of server error and the message requested that I contact them to
alert them to the problem. I did not do that and I think I will try
to setup another account soon. I did not download anything there,
though there was an option to download software, I suppose some sort
of branded IE/NS browser for W9x, though I did not explore that any
further.

One thing I missed is that your login id is your FULL Freewwweb email
address i.e. [EMAIL PROTECTED], not just username. The first
time I tried it was using username. Also your password must contain
at least 1 number. You would have gotten an error messaage telling
you that though, before your account info would have been accepted.

I specified W95 also. I don't really think Freewwweb was DESIGNED for
Linux users, it is just that it is useable by non-Win9x users since
they do not require any special software like the other free ISPs. I
hope you try to signup again and are successful.

I wish the buck stopped here. I could use a few.
