I missed this too, Dale. Thanks for helping me to spot my mistake.
As it turns out, my sign-up attempt was successful even though I had
failed to download the file they wanted me to have.
I changed the login id in my Net-Tamer program to my FULL Freewwweb
email address. I composed a message addressed to my sisters and my
brother and my son to tell them all about this wonderful free service,
and I CC'd the message to myself, [EMAIL PROTECTED], for my own
self-confirmation. Net-Tamer dialed up the access number, logged on,
and sent the message.
It works! Others have already confirmed that it works with Arachne. I am
saying that it works with Net-Tamer too!

P.S. If anyone has any idea as to what kind of information might have
been in that file that the Freewwweb folks wanted me to have, please
let me know. Thanks.
