Yes, I've followed your discussion on the list about loading the
packet driver high. If you could tell me how you do it, I would be
glad to give it a try. Do I have enough high memory for EPPPD to go
there now? I wish I had kept those message in that thread.

I just recently got another sound card (Digital Research DRSOUND) to
replace my old MediaVision Pro Audio Spectrum and it does not load a
driver in memory, though it does require a configuration program to
run at each boot (it's plug-n-pray). That frees up some high memory
that was being used by the driver, always a good situation to have.
I'd welcome any other ideas for improving my memory situation.
