Clarence & Howard,

You win the Nobel Piece Prize for this one!  I'd checked once before
when shelled out & couldn't figure why I only had 336 bytes with 17
free, particularly after getting those nasty "out of environment"
messages in Arachne.

Now I have modified DOSSHELL.BAT to read %COMSPEC%e/2048 
[I always have comspec set, and in Arachne config I jacked up
environment to 3072 after those "out of environment" crashes.

Now I have to get back to work.
