I think it is ver 7.0 - others have said that - I don't/won't use W9x.

Both "Your Computer" and "\\" cause Arachne to execute: file:@:*.*

This is supposed to give you a list of accessable drives.  How it does
this I don't know. I think the @ means it is executed in text mode with
maximum memory. This may be the problem in your case. 

Maybe other users of W95 can say if this works for them in a DOS box.
You could try running in full DOS instead of a box.

I have the same problem with this command and PCDOS 3.3.
It works fine for me in DOS 5.0 and 6.2x

The solution is, if it hurts when you do that, don't do that. <g>

p.s. Does anyone else have troubles with DJPEG32.exe or CWSDPMI.exe while
     running in W9x ? Can you view jpgs ?
