Nothing has come across the FreeNET list about Juno buying out Freewwweb yet. There
was some speculation but nothing else. The reason for the speculation is because
Worldspy (a bannerless ISP that was pretty good on Win98) just either sold out to Juno
or folded and referred their whole clientle to Juno (nobody really knows which).

1Nol is still in operation but in order to use it without their software, you have to
do some workarounds. The main thing is you must enter you username as username@1nol
(no .com or anything and of course, put in your username for username) and
yourpassword+xms for the password (no +, just add xms to the end of your password). I
haven't had a chance to try it with Arachne yet (they took away my local number), but
it should work I think.

>Bad news, gang. I heard it through the grapevine that FreeWWWeb is in the process of

>can kiss their DOS-friendly, bannerless service good-bye.

>I hope that's not the case, but those of you using FW as your primary ISP might want

>but we just added DialFree as our freebie provider at http://accessmasters.com . It's

>I think I remember someone on this list saying that 1NOL (One Nation Online -
>http://www.1nol.com/) worked for them, so you might want to check that out as well.

>Any other suggestions? I just thought I'd give you all a heads-up in case the Juno
