No wonder it did not work. My various entries were nowhere near
these. Thanks for the tip on 'dmesg' command. I am printing and
saving these posts for my Linux primer, Steven. An interesting note
on my system is that when I reboot, my CDROM is completely
unrecognized by the DOS driver unless I use the RESET button or
powerdown/powerup. Keep up the good work, Steven.
