Steven, I have d/l'd baslinux, installed and connected to the
www with Links... all in the space of a half-hour, *and I've
never seen anything Linux before in my life!*.

It certainly seemes slick. Well done and thanks.

Q: Can I "save" the changes I make with Pico (phone number,
login, etc) so that the next time I run BasLinux they are
already ok?

Can you recommend any *simple* tutorial on Linux BASICS for
a newby (though a very experienced DOS-user), please?

Mike
