1. Yes, I am using both Arachne 1.47 and Insight 1.47 .....
really for the same reason I am a DOS user, and an
XT user ..... and more dinosaur stuff. You know there
have always been only two types of computer users ...
(a) those for whom the computer is only a tool, and
(b) those for whom the computer in itself is a goal.
Unfortunately, I fit category (a) and therefore refuse to
upgrade to anything. I use a car to get "from here to
there", and refuse to upgrade with every new gadget which
is developed. There are car enthusiasts, who enjoy
spending hours learning about air-fuel ratios, spark
advance rates, boost pressures, or vacuum levels.....
There are always the two categories .... each with its
own valuable and legitimate role.
2. In my ARACHNE.CFG I have been using
LocalIcons Off
so I'm not sure if there are other areas, which need
adjusting to ensure I meet the instructions of Not
using an Icon Interface, which is pointed out in the
Hotkeys page.
