hi all,
been busy so haven't been active here lately ... but

a DOS boot disk will work in this scenario ... BTDT.

you need a "DOS" directory on the HDD. boot from floppy (load your mem
drvrs / etc here). if you have a "DOS" directory w/himem ... etc you can
refer to that in your boot disk (autoexec.bat, config.sys) or just put
it on the boot disk. the advantage of having on a "boot disk" is you can
"boot" just about any puter with a complete (basic) OS.

hee, hee

my experience w/DOS ('rachne) from WIN95 has been fine (up to 'rachne
1.67). WIN98 has crashed on this EVERY time (i think its that "character
glitch" but haven't had time to pursue further).

am looking forward to 'rachne linux <g>. might have that functional b4
santa arrives (or not).
