Refer to my earlier message in this thread. Bet it'd work with about any
version of MS-DOS (PC-DOS included) if you'd do the research and find
the appropriate, additional tools.

Let me give you a start: Save the boot sector.

Quite an attitude for someone who's asking others to try something for
_his_ benefit that apparently he won't try himself.
