However is correct.;-)

That 64 Megs of ram is almost totally useless to most applications.
Wincrap9x doesn't count in my books. It's not an application anyway.

You can use it for HDcache, a wacking great RAMDISK and free XMS that the 
application (Arachne) will need for swapping and tempory storage, but the
entire executable itself MUST fit 100% in the available LOW dos memory.

This isn't eough memory for Arachne -^^^^.

Congratulations ! This *IS* plenty --^^^^-- of memory for Arachne !
I'd say we got a base hit. <G>

Now on to the other stuff.

Hmmm.
All I can think of now is the old "Hole in the comports problem".
i.e. maybe the PPP software can't find the modem that the dialer was
just using - but I see you are using COMM 1. That CAN'T be a problem.

There is one more file that might help.
Would you please post a copy of pppdrc.cfg ?
