Delayed write is simply that writes are not done immediately, but can be
held back a little time. (usually 2 seconds)
The only thing which can happen is, that the computer crashes/looses power
before it has written the data ...
but this would not lead to corrupted files, but to not updated files.
eg you save a textfile, and immediately after that the computer crashes -
with delayed write you could have lost the changes, because the computer
has not necessarily written the data ...
but the chances of corruption are NOT greater than without delayed write.
(corruption occurs if there goes something wrong, while you write data ...)
delayed write does not involve longer data writes, so the chances are nor
higher.
(whereas the chances of loosing the latest additions are minimally higher)
