Could be possible.
But what happened to me happened while using Arachne (1.64 or 65 I think)
a long time ago, and was reported to Michael immediately.

I had/have a link to my NS bookmarks in my Arachne Hotlist, and I had been
using it. Some time later in the same session, a further attempt to use
my NS bookmarks resulted in an Arachne load error.

A few minutes of investigation showed that my NS bookmarks no longer existed
AND THEY HAD BEEN ON A DIFFERENT DRIVE !:(
