The WWW will no longer be safe for people with asthma, allergies or multiple
chemical sensitivities! I read an article on the WWW about transmitting smells,
and that idea stinks (literally) as far as I'm concerned! Even people without
asthma, allergies or multiple chemical sensitivities may get tired of smelling
the same French cheese all day, all night as the aroma persists.
Many people, perhaps most people, who browse the WWW, want information, not
glitz. In a fast-paced society, people don't have time for the World Wide Wait.
But companies that want to keep their Web site simple are less likely to go to a
Web design consultant than are companies that want a lot of glitz. When I see a
.swf link or [EMBED], I take that as an indication of hot air and no substance.

Where do you get such a price for ME? Win2000 suggested retail price was $309,
ME is less (sounds strange grammatically, but then nobody ever said
"Windows is ..." years back). Why can't you move to Linux or NetBSD?
Installing any Windows on a computer that already has another OS is very
hazardous. Windows is designed to run as the only OS. Any other program that
alters the partition table, boot sector, or existing partitions without the user
knowing or having any choice is known as a Trojan horse or virus.
British Government is overreacting to the foot-and-mouth crisis! Slaughtering
all healthy cattle within a certain proximity to a case of foot-and-mouth
disease is too much. Imagine they should kill people who live on the same block
as another person with some serious infectious disease. Unthinkable even for
the most infectious and the most serious human diseases, Ebola included.
