Thanks Clarence for the information on the Samsung monitor. It seems that I
am always one size behind (or at the tail end of) the commonly provided
size. I'm looking to replace one of the monitors with a 17" one, but
thirsting for a 19" monitor.
Some months ago, there was an ad for a 19" MAG monitor (VM-990?) for well
under $200. Even though computer catalogs listed that model with other MAG
monitors, I couldn't find that model (or any VM-xxx model) on their web site,
so I did a search on the model number. It turns out that although the
monitor had the MAG name, it was manufactured by KDS or some other similar
outfit. Support thru MAG for that model is non-existent and posted comments
indicate that they won't even advise people that they don't manufacture the
model.
